Dr. Nam received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Massachusetts-Amherst in Biochemistry. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed three years of post-graduate dental specialty education in Prosthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

After completion of Prosthodontics training, he continued his study for a year in Implant Restoration and Surgery as an Implant fellow at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nam is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontics and Board Eligible.

Dr. Nam served as a Clinical Instructor at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine from 2012 to 2015.
